Flick the toggle one way and you have sweet very low-gain overdrive, flick it the other way and you get wildly charged harmonic content of our much praised unlimited distortion. Combine all these different options together and you have a super-versatile harmonic beast. The Vintage Series Super Swede is a guitar to define them all, providing astounding tone from modern crunch to vintage finesse. Deep and beautiful, the Super Swede has a longer 25.5" strat style scale neck on a traditional single cutaway body to give this guitar the best of both worlds. This guitar features a 45mm Mahogany Body with 10mm Carved Maple Top and Flame Maple Veneer, and a Mahogany Set Neck. The fingerboard is made from Resinator wood with Hagstrom Pearl Block Position Marks. Resinator wood is more stable than any standard wood product. It is the perfect fingerboard material in that it eliminates wolf tones or hot spots, and it has a smooth, articulate sound. The H-Expander Truss Rod provides tension at either end and running the entire length of the neck, and the rigid yet lightweight alloy truss rod allows for a very low action and thin neck, two factors that were instrumental in earning Hagstrom its reputation as the world’s fastest playing guitar.
